Information for Parents
We love to keep in touch with our parents and carers and maintain a regular dialogue. Please feel welcome to send us comments and suggestions or simply use this page as somewhere to find all the information you need all in one place.
We also offer a range of regular activities for our parents to meet other parents and engage more socially with our staff. These include parent / carer Stay and Play sessions, Mums’ and Dads’ social nights, a children’s Christmas party with a visit from Father Christmas, and a summer party for children and parents.
We also seize every opportunity to celebrate fun, charity or cultural events with the children, for example Red Nose Day, Children in Need, Chinese New Year etc.
We are delighted to offer a range of home-cooked, locally-sourced menus. Our menus work on a six weekly rotation. We provide substantial snacks as well as a home-cooked meal during the day. We value the social interactions that happen when children and practitioners engage in conversations around the table. We always respect dietary requirements, taking into account cultural beliefs and allergies. Our menus are designed in consultation with the guidelines set by Bristol City Council nutrition experts.

If you would like to learn more about our day nurseries, why not register a visit for you and your child?
We really liked the flexibility of days that our child could attend. The sensory garden and the policy to play outside at least once a day no matter the weather was a real plus in our books. Our child loved the staff both in the baby room and toddlers. And we felt it was a fun and safe place for our son to learn and explore the world.
